Former Governor of Reserve Bank of India, Raghuram Rajan has come to India on the occasion of launching his book "I Do, What You Do". Raghuram Rajan is continuously interacting with several channels - newspapers during the different launching festivals organized in three cities of India. During this, he kept his opinion about the country's economy. While being the Governor of the Reserve Bank, he mentioned his experiences. Raghuram Rajan again expressed his desire to return to the Reserve Bank.
Raghuram Rajan said that private companies are not investing. NPAs of banks have become a major problem for the country. He also questioned the integration of banks and said that while the bank was already suffering from the problem, many banks would be spending more time and energy in the restructuring at such times. The condition of employment in the country is worrying. India is the largest youth power but unemployment is unfortunate. On the tag of the fastest growing economy of the world, Rajan said that after ten years of continuous increase of ten years, this kind of chest would be considered right.
