GST: More than 1.2 million business people applied for new registration

Over 12 lakh business people across the country have applied for new registration under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system. Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia has given this information. He said that out of these 10 lakh applications have been approved for registration whereas 2 lakh applications are still pending

GST Industry It has been given time till July 30 to register under the system. Apart from this, if any enterprise G.S.T. If he becomes eligible for registration then he will have to register within 30 days from the date of becoming eligible, however, the enterprise having an annual turnover of 20 lakh rupees has been exempted from registration. Merchants and manufacturers are registering for input tax credit under the system so that they can get the benefit of it in the entire supply chain.
