Today Ubisoft announced that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands™ video game is in development and is scheduled to be released May 2010 for consoles and handhelds.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will take the players to the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time story line. This installment will have many "fan-favorite elements" of the series and new gameplay innovations. Also, Jerry Bruckheimer movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is due for release next year in May.
It's quite likely that Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands would be released along side the movie
matching the same story line of The Sands of Time.
More details about the game would be revealed at Spike TV's Video Game Award on December 12.
