McNally Bharat bags Rs 330 cr order from SAIL

McNally Bharat Engineering Company today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 330 crore from Steel Authority of India for engineering related works at the state-run steel major’s Rourkela plant.

The scope of work includes supply of equipment like crusher and vibrating feeder at company’s coal handling plant in Rourkela, the company said in a statement.

“This is an extremely important and prestigious project for us. We hope to execute the contract successfully in keeping with our high standards of technical expertise,” McNally Bharat Engineering Managing Director Srinivash Singh said.

McNally Bharat Engineering today reported a net profit of Rs 3.6 crore for the July-September quarter against Rs 3.2 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.The company’s order book stands at Rs 2,925 crore and it expects to register a combined topline, including that of subsidiary McNally Sayaji, of around Rs 1,800 crore in 2009-10.

Shares of McNally Bharat today closed at Rs 201.80 on BSE, down 3.40 per cent from its previous close.
