Sensex falls 147 points to 31661 level

On Wednesday, the Indian stock market closed with the downturn. The major index Sensex dropped 147 points to 31661 and the Nifty dropped 37 points to close at 9915 levels. On the National Stock Exchange, the mid-cap dropped 0.04 per cent and the smallcap index was 0.39 per cent.  In terms of sectoral index, all the index except financial services and metals are closed in the red mark. Weakness in Bank (0.17%), Auto (0.26%), FMCG (1.38%), IT (0.71%), Pharma (1.63%) and Realty (0.02%).

                                               

Talking about giant stocks, 19 of the Nifty stocks are closed in the green mark and 32 are down with the business closed. The fastest growth is in the shares of India Bulls Housing Finance, Hindalco, Ultra Cement, GAIL and Yes Bank. At the same time, the fall has happened in the shares of Sunfarma, Bosch Limited, ITC, Lupine and Axis Bank.
