On Friday, the Indian stock market closed with the increase. The broader index of the Sensex rose by 161 points to 31892 and the Nifty climbed 56 points to close at 9974 levels. In today's trading, the Nifty closed close to 9950. On the National Stock Exchange, the mid-cap touched 1.25 percent and the smallcap 1.08 percent.
Talking about the sectoral index, all the indexes except IT are closed in green mark. Bank (0.48 per cent), Auto (1.99 per cent), Financial Services (0.05 per cent), FMCG (0.28 per cent), Metal (1.95 per cent), Pharma (2.39 per cent) and Realty (2.59 per cent).
Talking about giant stocks, trading in Nifty stocks in 40 green mark and 11 declines have been closed. The fastest growth is in the shares of Dr. Reddy, Oro Pharma, Asian Paint, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto. At the same time, the fall has come in the shares of IOC, TCS, PowerGrid, Bharti Airtel and Wipro.
