Infosys to do away with the second quarter of fiscal year 2018, will continue on October 24

The country's largest IT company Infosys has postponed the results of the second quarter of fiscal year 2017. This information was received on Tuesday by the company's filing. Infosys has informed about the July-September quarter results for October 24. Generally, Infosys releases results within two weeks of the end of the quarter.  In the year 2014, Infosys released the results of the quarter ended in March on 24th April. Investors' eyes are on the results of the company to estimate the growth of the IT sector in the country. Infosys is the second place after TCS in terms of earnings.

                                                         

After the return of Nandan Nilekani in Infosys, the quarterly results of the company will be the first earning announcement from the company. Nilekani has made a comeback in the company as a non-executive chairman. Coin had resigned immediately following the growing dispute between company founder NR Narayana Murthy and former CEO Vishal Sikka last month. After this Nilekani made a comeback to the company.
