Tax Department raided several premises related to Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shivakumar

On Tuesday, the Income Tax Department raided several premises related to Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shivakumar in a case of tax evasion. Shivkumar was in charge of the arrangement for the stay of 44 MLAs of Gujarat in a resort near Bangalore. Officials of Income Tax Department said that cash worth Rs 9 crore was recovered during the raid on various properties related to the minister. The team of the Income Tax Department has taken the minister from the resort to his home in Bangalore.
