Brokers said that after the rise of Wall Street in the US last night, positive sentiments from Asian markets also boosted domestic markets. Increasing expectations about tax reform in the US also gave a boost to the market. Shares of Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, Dr Reddy's, NTPC, SBI, ICICI Bank, ITC Ltd, Lupine, Cipla, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto and HDFC Ltd were up 1.87 per cent in Sensex companies.
