Sensex rises 258 points to 31646 level

On Wednesday, the Indian stock market remained closed on Wednesday after the upswing. The major index Sensex has climbed 258 points at 31646 and the Nifty closed 88 points higher at 9884 level. On the National Stock Exchange, the mid-cap index gained 1.42 percent and the smallcap 1.77 percent.  Talking about the sectoral index, all the indexes except IT are closed in green mark. Bank (0.74 per cent), Auto (0.66 per cent), Financial Services (0.95 per cent), FMCG (0.89 per cent), Metal (2.65 per cent), Pharma (0.49 per cent) and Realty (1.69 per cent).

                                                           
                                                         

Talking about the legendary shares, 38 of the Nifty stocks in the green mark, 11 were down, and 2 remained closed without any change. The fastest is in the shares of Bosch Limited, Hindalco, IOC, BPCL and Vedanta Limited. At the same time, the fall has happened in the shares of Tech Mahindra, M & M, Dr Reddy, NTPC and Lupine.
