Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will issue a new note of Rs.200 / - on August 25. It will be a note of Mahatma Gandhi's new series. It is believed that this note will solve the problem of cash as well as try to reduce the pressure on the Rs. 100 note.
RBI has informed through a release that the Reserve Bank of India will issue a new note of 200 rupees with a new series of Mahatma Gandhi on August 25, 2017. This note will be the signature of Governor Urjit Patel. It is believed that a new 200 rupee note can eliminate the retail crisis in the market. Because there is no other denomination note between 500 and 2000 rupees, due to availability of small notes, problems are coming out. At the same time, the RBI also believes that the new note of 200 rupees will become increasingly popular.
