National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has invited applications for the recruitment of eligible candidates for total 340 posts of Scientist-B and Scientific / Technical Assistant 'A'. Selection Process
-Scientist 'B' will be selected by qualified candidate for interview. For the post of Scientific / Technical Assistant 'A' candidates will be given written examination.
- The final selection of candidates for the post of 'sistent' B will be based on the combined performance of written examination and interview. Candidates who have been successful in written examination will be called in written examination. It is compulsory for selection to be present in the interview.
- Candidates do not have to interview for the post of Scientific / Technical Assistant 'A'.
Written Exam Format
The nature of questions in this examination will be multiple choice. There will be 120 questions, out of which 60 questions will be asked by computer science and 60 questions generic area (Logical, Analytical Reasoning Capability, Quantitative and Qualitative Ability, General Awareness and Aptitude). Each question will be for one digit.
-The test has negative marking. 0.25 points will be deducted for each wrong answer.
To pass the written examination, the unreserved section will get 50 per cent, OBC 40 per cent and SC / ST 30 per cent points.
