Flipkart, India's largest e-commerce website, is already in the process of buying its competitor Snapdeal. According to the Reuters report, Snapdeal's board has now given a green signal for the acquisition. News Agency Reuters has said that the deal has been fixed in 900 to 950 million dollars (about $ 61 billion).
To finalize this deal, the shareholders of Snapdeal have to be allowed to finalize the deal. However, neither the Snapdeal nor Flipkart has received an official statement on this acquisition so far.
