Kerala Piravi Day SMS , Nov 1st Celebration

Kerala Piravi marks the birth of the state of Kerala. The state of Kerala was created on November 1st, 1956. November 1st is therefore known as Kerala Piravi Dinam(day) in the state. 

Malayalees from around the world celebrate November 1st as Kerala Piravi, which in Malayalam means the Day Kerala was formed in the earth. Kerala the southern most state of India took birth on 1 November 1956, long after Indian Independence on 15 August 1947.
