India's pride, Indian Footballer Sunil Chhetri is all set to play against Manchester United. It's a nice to hear for a Country with One Billion population, and doesn't have a single player in the history of football who can play a full International Mach in Soccer.
Anyway, India, Asia and the rest of the world is waiting to watch the pre-season friendly between American MLS side Kansas City Wizards and Manchester United, on Sunday, July 25 at 5 p.m. CT (Monday, July 26 at 3:30 a.m. IST) at the New Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Chhetri has been among the developments at the MLS outfits, and is now set to take on English Premier League giants Manchester United.
The Red Devils are set to embark on their pre-season tour of the USA and are scheduled to play three friendlies. First against Philadelphia Union then they face Kansas City Wizards and finally the English League Cup champions wrap up with a tie against the 2010 MLS All Star XI team.
Chhetri becomes the second Indian player after Bhaichung Bhutia to face Manchester United. Bhutia faced the Red Devils during his stint with English side FC Bury in 2000.
The two sides face off at the newly inaugurated New Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, July 25th.
for the people in America, the match will be broadcasted live on Fox Soccer Channel. The pre-game show is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT (3:00 a.m. IST). The match will also be streamed live on MUTV Online, Manchester United’s subscription video service available at mu.tv.manutd.com for £4.5/month (approximately 325 INR).
