Adrienne Simmons Dead After Kickboxing Fight

Adrienne Simmons, a 34-year-old Atlanta kickboxer, died Tuesday after she was knocked unconscious during a fight on Sunday.

Simmons was participating in the International Kickboxing match in Orlando when she was hit with a left hook that knocked her unconscious. The fight stopped and a doctor tended to her. She was later taken to an Orlando hospital where she was treated before dying two days later.

Simmons, who lived in Atlanta, was in Florida for an event sponsored by the International Kickboxing Federation.
