Michael Ruslim, president director of Indonesia’s biggest auto retailer PT Astra International, died in Singapore after being hospitalized with dengue fever, the company said today. He was 56.
“For a company with a caliber such as Astra, there won’t be too much impact,” Agus Pramono, an analyst at PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia, said by telephone. “The company has a good system, and the system is working. Within a day, probably everything will be settled.”
Pramono rates Astra “hold.”
Astra sells Toyota Motor Corp. vehicles and Honda Motor Co. motorcycles.
