Jahvid Best was injured Saturday after he leapt into the end zone to score a touchdown and landed on his head and back. Jahvid Best sustained what appeared to be an extremely serious back/neck injury while scoring the Bears’ first touchdown.  After approximately ten minutes of medical attention, he was taken from the field while being provided oxygen.  He did not raise his hand or acknowledge the crowd.

This really scary. For those who did not see it - he jumped into the air to get over a defender as he scored a touchdown and twisted to land squarely on his upper back/lower neck area. His helmet flew off and he looked instantly unconscious the moment he landed after the TD. His arms were stiffened and his eyes were closed.
